Join us for an evening featuring the talents of AAPI students from all over Clark County! Before the show begins, we welcome you to browse through our gallery displays of artworks by several of our scholarship finalists and local musicians! There will be a panel interview at 5:30pm with some of the past winners talking about where they are now, and how the Cre8sian Project has helped them on their journey in the arts!

Victoria Keum Jee is an actress, writer, musician, and director based in Los Angeles. After realizing her love for performing at an early age, her parents stoked her creativity and encouraged her to pursue music and theatre. But it wasn’t until they took her to see a production ofJoseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat that she knew she had to pursue acting. After studying Musical Theatre/Vocal Performance at the University of Hartford, her resume now overflows with film credits–including her recent appearance inClone Cops, a sci-fi comedy film! The Cre8sian Project is thrilled to announce the winners of the 2024-2025 Cre8sian Project Scholarships!
Syante is a singer/songwriter based in Los Angeles. Growing up singing in choir inspired her to pick up the guitar in middle school, leading to a full-time music career. After winning Future Youth Records’ songwriting contest, she was able to record her original song alongside Jesse Colin Young, Kenny Aronoff, Laurence Juber, and Jorgen Carlsson. Now, she’s in the process of recording her debut album that she hopes will not only showcase her abilities, but resonate with her audience. When Syante’s not in the studio, she runs the Jubilee Vegan Cafe, providing free vegan meals to combat food insecurity at USC, and works closely with the United University Church. Her advice to young artists? “Be patient, stay consistent, and keep pushing forward.” Read on to learn more about Syante and what makes her an Amazing Asian in the Arts!
Hannah Kato is an actor based in Chicago, IL. After falling in love with theatre at 11 years old, Kato dedicated herself to honing her craft wherever she could. With credits likeCome From Away (National Tour),Inherit The Wind (Goodman Theatre) andA Christmas Carol (Drury Lane Theatre), her hard work has paid off! Kato’s performances are driven not only by a love for theatre, but to also help Asian-American girls see a place for themselves in this industry. When she’s not onstage, Kato contributes to Downstage Arts in Chicago, providing accessible arts training and mentorship for high schoolers pursuing a career in the arts. The Cre8sian Project was founded as a way to give back to the community while empowering Asian women around the world by developing female superhero characters that envelop qualities of a superhero: Determination, Concentration, Motivation, and Education. This brand is about recognizing diversity in the arts, emphasizing that representation matters, and empowering women in the arts and beyond!
The Cre8sian Project Scholarships, through Positively Arts (a 501c3 non profit), in partnership with Marshun Entertainment, are open to cis-female and female-identifying high school students attending public, private, or home school with an interest in the arts, have some Asian heritage, and live in Clark County. Students who are involved in any aspect of the arts, not just performance, are encouraged to apply. This can include writers, photographers, filmmakers, technical stage crew (carpentry, props, lighting, automation, audio, set design, stage managers), artists, graphic designers, directors, acrobats, singers, dancers, musicians, composers, arrangers, etc.
Applicants must submit their materials through the google form link by 11:59 PM on Jan 22, 2025. Only complete on time applications will be considered. Shortly after we will be extending an invitation for an in person call back for the week of Feb 17, 2025. The winner will be announced March 1, 2025 on The Cre8sian Project website atwww.TheCre8sianProject.com!
