What are some of your favorite credits/projects:

I had the opportunity to work part-time at Coachella and Stagecoach, which was an incredible experience, especially since I attended these events as an audience last year. Being on the other side and working behind the scenes gave me a new perspective and deepened my appreciation for the effort that goes into creating such iconic events.

Any advice for young people getting into the arts?

Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. The journey in the arts is all about learning and growing, so embrace every challenge as an opportunity to improve. Stay curious, keep exploring new ideas, and always believe in your unique voice.

How did you get your start?

I got my start in music by founding a pop music club at my university. Organizing live shows and music festivals gave me hands-on experience in every aspect of the music industry, from project planning to marketing. As an independent artist, I’ve taken on the full process of creating music – from songwriting and production to marketing – working closely with my team to bring our vision to life in the form of an album.

Do you have any favorite moments in your career that you'd like to share?

One of my favorite moments was when I released my first song independently. The feeling of putting my work out into the world and receiving positive feedback from listeners was unforgettable. It motivated me to keep pushing forward in my career.

What have you found is the biggest challenge in your career?

The biggest challenge has been navigating the differences between the Eastern and Western music industries. It can be difficult to find a balance between staying true to my roots and adapting to new environments. However, this challenge has also pushed me to grow and become more versatile as an artist.

What are some interesting facts about yourself?

I have a passion for blending different musical styles and storytelling in my work. I also enjoy trying different things within the music industry – I’ve gained experience working in a music publishing company, at music festivals, and as an A&R. I’m always eager to learn and explore different roles, and I would love to continue trying out different characters in the music industry!

Who do you admire?

I admire Lana Del Rey for her cinematic and melancholic style, which has greatly influenced my musical direction. I like Lana Del Rey because she stays true to herself and has made her unique style something that people love. She doesn’t follow trends or change to fit the market, and that’s something I deeply respect. I also admire Sia for her powerful vocal style and emotive songwriting. I look up to Sia because she never gave up on music, and she doesn’t let age define her career. For her, making music and singing are lifelong passions, and that’s a mindset I strive to embody.

Do you have any mentors?

Skylar Ward, my supervisor at Ocean Five Records, has been a great mentor. She has guided me through the intricacies of the music industry and has always encouraged me to stay true to my creative vision.

Did you always want to be in the arts or did you have another path before you got here?

I’ve always wanted to be in the arts. Music has been a passion of mine since I was young, and I’ve always known that I wanted to pursue it as a career.

What is your greatest accomplishment?

My greatest accomplishment so far has been successfully releasing and marketing my music. It’s been a challenging journey, but it’s incredibly fulfilling to see my work resonate with listeners.

What do you love most about what you do?

I love the freedom to express myself through music. Being able to turn my emotions and experiences into something that others can connect with is a powerful and rewarding experience.

What inspires you?

I’m inspired by the world around me – my life, people, and everyday experiences. I’m also deeply inspired by the stories of others and the emotions they evoke.

As a songwriter, how do you pick the stories you want to tell and what is your process for creating a song?

I choose stories that resonate with me emotionally. My process usually starts with an idea or a feeling, which I then translate into lyrics and melody. I focus on creating a narrative that listeners can connect with on a deeper level.

Is there anything else you would like to share about yourself?

I’m always looking for new ways to connect different cultures through music. My goal is to bridge the gap between Eastern and Western music, creating a unique sound that resonates with people around the world.
