In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, some of the theater community in NYC are banding together to help make sure the courageous doctors, nurses, and medical teams have one less thing to worry about.
Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, this week's featured Amazing Asian in the Arts, Lulu Picart, started an organization that organizes and delivers food to medical teams in the NYC area. At the time they were a small operation, taking donations through their personal Venmo accounts. Since then, they have grown and are becoming a non-profit organization, with volunteers who have stepped up to organize and donate the filing and website fees, so that all of their donations can still go towards feeding workers on the front lines!
